And I sorely miss the extensions too... seems that it will be some more time before they release the API framework details...

2 workarounds found on the Net.

http://groups.google.com/group/google-chrome-help-troubleshooting/browse_thread/thread/9b36847031eccba2/48d37296bf5d8148?lnk=gst&q=symantec endpoint workaround#48d37296bf5d8148

https://forums.symantec.com/syment/board/message?board.id=endpoint_protection11&thread.id=15816

First option disables Chrome Sandbox, which is a bit of a dampener since I think sandboxing is one of its best features. But even if you do you are not worse of that whatever browser you currently use that does not have this feature anyways.

Second options changes something in the Symantec client... not sure what the impact on the functionality is.

By your comment around the T&C did were you referring to this - http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/google-chrome-license-agreement/

Or is there something else in there that monitors my browsing habits... ?

Too bad the sandbox feature doesn't work with my Symantec Endpoint Client. But seems like a decent browser so far. Btw, if you do not know, google collects all your browsing habits, you consent to it in the T&C while installing chrome.

If you have a problem with this, use incognito mode.
Waiting for the add-ons..
