Social media including blogging for most of us is just another forum like chatting with a friend over a cup of coffee and gossiping about things or airing our opinions. There is still a major confusion about what the uses of social media and what our restrictions are. I think restricting the public opinion on blogs in a way does take away our freedom of speech. A blog is one’s personal space where one can air any opinion whatsoever. These restrictions will simply change the way social media is viewed and they may not be viewed as social anymore. They might just become another vehicle of PR or propaganda. I think gradually people are going to shy away from social media as a platform if this continues…
